Public Art
I had a nice spring break with my friends, and we went to the Millenium Park and some places in Chicago city. There are a lot people come to the Millenium Park everyday for a break time or travel because Millenium Park is a wide place and nice landscape in downtown Chicago. I saw many artwork in there as Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Cloud Gate, Crown Fountain, Millennium Monument. specially I was interesting to see Cloud Gate, which many people call a big bean. I read information from Millenium park center that the -ton elliptical Cloud Gate sculpture is forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel "plate", which reflect the city's famous skyline and the cloud above".

Theme of Death

The exhibit has showed that every one has to go through the death once in lifetime. Anyone is born has to die. At the end, we will leave the world with skulls. The skulls are very similar and it is difficult to differentiate the beauty or ugly of a person. The exhibit has taught me how to face the death and teach me how to let go all the miseries and greed. It shows the pleasures, power, and love are impermanent and they do not follow us forever, we will be apart from our pleasures when death is catching up.

Butterfly

The first time seing this picture, I can imagine a beautiful day in the Spring with sunshine and clear sky. I really enjoy looking at it because the scene makes me feel relax and I can feel the peace in myself. The brightness of the colors and all the objects displayed create the harmony of the scene and the butterfly represents the freedom of creativity.
